Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya, Suratgarh District Sri Ganganagar Rajasthan which was established in the year 2014, in accordance with NPE-1986, has grown leaps and bounds in a short span of time & carved a niche for itself in the region of Rajasthan in the field of Education. Like all Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas throughout India, JNV Suratgarh is affiliated to the Central Board of Secondary Education New Delhi having the affiliation no: 1740034 and J.N.V. School Code: 16714, U-DISE Code: 08010861902. Admission to Vidyalaya is made at the class VI level through open test conducted at District level by CBSE.

Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti!!

Navodaya Vidyalayas are run by the Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti (NVS), an autonomous organisation under the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Department of School Education and Literacy, Govt. of India. The Chairman of the Samiti is the Minister of Human Resource Development. The Samiti functions through the Executive Committee under the Chairmanship of the Minister of HRD. The Executive Committee is responsible for the management of all affairs including allocation of funds to the Samiti and has the authority to exercise all powers of Samiti. It is assisted by two Sub-Committees i.e. Finance Committee and Academic Advisory Committee, in its functions.

Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) e-Box is an online complaint box for reporting child sexual abuse. It is an National Commission for Protection of Child Rights (NCPCR) initiative to help children report such crimes directly to the Commission. The online complaint management system enables easy reporting and timely action against the offenders under the POCSO Act, 2012. E-Box is very simple to operate and will help to maintain the confidentiality of the complaint.

U-DISE Code

U-DISE (Unified District Information System for Education) is a database of information about schools in India. The database was developed at the National University for Educational Planning and Administration. It records information such as the level of dropouts and the condition of school toilets.

Parent Teacher Council

The local Parent Teacher Council sets a standard for these groups as a whole. The main role of the local Parent Teacher Council is to build strong working relationships among parents, teachers and schools, in support of students. membership includes parents, teachers and staff. The purpose of the organization is to promote a healthy working relationship and an open line of communication between home and school.
